Project Engineer
Malphrus Construction Company seeks a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction work for our Hitlon Head office.  The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage work for residential subdivisions, commercial projects, and local, state, and federal government projects. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining job schedules, establishing and tracking subcontractors, quantity tracking, invoicing, and collection monitoring, preparing correspondence and other documentation, and maintaining client relations. 

Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in site development work or a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a construction related field. Computer knowledge of spreadsheets and CPM scheduling software along with strong oral and written communication skills required.

Senior Estimator
Malphrus Construction Company seeks an experienced Senior Estimator in heavy civil construction work for our Charleston and Hilton Head office.  

The successful candidate will possess the ability to assemble bids for various types of projects including, but not limited to, excavation, grade and underground utility for residential subdivisions, commercial projects, and local, state, and federal government projects. They will participate in site visits, solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors, interface with management, read and interpret plans & specs, and develop and ensure accurate calculation of bid costs.

Requirements: Computer knowledge in Agtek and Hard Dollar systems preferred.
